Privacy policy

This policy covers how Opibility collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to opibility.com and clients of our services. Last updated: September 2026.

Who we are

Opibility is a B2B content engine studio based in Carmel, Indiana. We build AI-assisted content production systems for marketing and sales teams. You can reach us at info@opibility.com or through the contact page.

Information we collect from site visitors

When you visit opibility.com we collect limited information automatically:

  • Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, session duration, traffic source, and general location (country or city level). IP addresses are anonymized. We filter bot and datacenter traffic before any number informs a decision.
  • Search Console data via Google Search Console: the queries that surfaced our pages in search results, impressions, and clicks. This data is aggregate and not tied to individual visitors.
  • Contact form submissions: name, email address, company, and any message you choose to send. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking beyond the analytics tools listed above.

Information we collect from clients

When you engage Opibility as a client, we collect and process information necessary to deliver the service:

  • Access credentials for platforms you connect: Google Analytics, Search Console, CMS APIs, SFTP. These are stored in per-client credential vaults, never in the client portal, and never shared across clients.
  • Analytics and performance data from your connected properties, used to build roadmaps and monthly reports.
  • Content strategy materials: topic briefs, audience research, brand voice guidelines, and draft content produced during the engagement.
  • Billing information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on our systems.

Every client operates in an isolated environment. Your data is never assembled with, shared with, or used to inform work for any other client. Full details are on the data handling page.

How we use information

  • To deliver and improve the content engine service for your account.
  • To produce monthly performance reports tied to your analytics and CRM.
  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • To understand how visitors use opibility.com so we can improve it.
  • To meet legal or contractual obligations where they apply.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use client content or strategy to train AI models. We do not share information with third parties except as necessary to deliver the service (for example, passing content to an AI drafting API under commercial terms that exclude training use).

AI and model training

Client work runs on commercial AI API terms that contractually exclude customer content from model training. Zero-data-retention arrangements are available for sensitive engagements. Internal tooling runs on subscription seats under equivalent terms. Your content does not become part of any model, and your strategy does not inform outputs for anyone else.

Data retention

Site analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention settings (up to 14 months for GA4 event data). Contact form submissions are retained as long as the inquiry is active or a client relationship exists. Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement and destroyed within 30 days of termination, confirmed in writing. Regulated-client audit logs are retained per the terms of the engagement and applicable compliance requirements.

Cookies

opibility.com uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish sessions and measure traffic. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising, personalization, or third-party social cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics measurement using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@opibility.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. EU/UK residents: our legal basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interest. Contact us if you have questions about our GDPR compliance.

Security

We use HTTPS across all pages, per-client credential isolation, and access limited to team members assigned to your account. No security measure is perfect; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please contact us at info@opibility.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
